With the injuries continuing to pile up and bye weeks starting to hit, there wasn’t as much action from the Longhorns in the NFL throughout week eight. But with that being said, Michael Dickson stole the show for the highlight of this week.
Late in the fourth quarter, Seattle was punting from their own end zone up by 14 points. Keep in mind this was still a two-possession game and the Lions had three timeouts of their own. As Dickson rolled out to punt the ball, there was plenty of open field ahead of him. Without hesitation, the Aussie took off and gained the first down to seal the victory for Seattle.
