Texas Longhorn fans have been spoiled when it comes to consistent kickers, in fact, most Texas kickers have been as close to automatic as one can get; however over the last three seasons, that has not been the case for the team.
Today, the Longhorns received news that there could be some help on the way from 2-star kicker, Jon Coppens, who is ranked as the No. 16 kicker in the nation coming out of high school.
It took Coppens a while to find a final collegiate home, committing first to Wyoming, then to Incarnate Word, before pledging to play for the Rice Owls.
