Following a single-car accident on Tuesday that required a brief trip to the hospital and a precautionary CT scan, Texas Longhorns junior linebacker Jeffrey McCulloch has a minor neck strain, the school revealed on Thursday.
The 6’2, 241-pounder remains under evaluation by the Longhorns medical staff and is currently listed as day-to-day.
Texas is in the midst of its only bye week of the season and not set to play again until traveling to Stillwater on October 27 to play Oklahoma State.
McCulloch took over the starting B-backer position when fellow junior Malcolm Roach suffered a fractured foot against USC.
