AUSTIN -- Junior linebacker Jeffrey McCulloch has been diagnosed with a minor neck strain following a car crash on Tuesday, Texas officials announced Thursday. McCulloch is considered day-to-day.
Texas coach Tom Herman announced Tuesday night after practice that McCulloch had been involved in a single-car accident during the day and was experiencing neck soreness.
Herman said McCulloch hydroplaned with his car and hit a light pole. Austin has experienced bad weather this week with a cold front and steady rain, which has made roads a little more treacherous.
