Chris Beard continues to strike gold through the transfer market, as he’s added yet another piece to his first roster with the addition of former Creighton forward Christian Bishop, who announced his pledge to the Texas Longhorns on Friday.
Bishop chose Texas over Kansas and North Carolina, so it could go without saying that this is a significant recruiting victory for Beard and his staff.
“They got a new coach who’s a really good coach who made it to a national championship two years ago. He’s always been successful with transfers and I feel like they have a good culture down there in Texas, so they can be a valuable choice for me,” Bishop recently told 247Sports’ Dushawn London of his interest in the Longhorns.
