Texas is a 7-point underdog against Iowa State

The Texas Longhorns are underdogs once again heading into the Nov. 6 game against the Iowa State Cyclones in Ames — Draft Kings has the Cyclones as seven-point favorites over the Longhorns as of Monday afternoon.*

The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Central on FS1.

On Saturday, the Horns dropped a 31-24 contest against the Bears in Waco after blowing yet another double-digit lead. Texas is now 4-4 in head coach Steve Sarkisian’s first season, including 2-3 in conference play.

Head coach Matt Campbell’s Cyclones are a disappointing 5-3 coming off a loss to the Mountaineers in Morgantown — the expectations were high for Iowa State this year as Campbell returned 19 of 22 starters from a team that lost in the Big 12 Championship game in 2020.
