AUSTIN -- Just two games into the 2018 season, the Longhorns have already experienced numerous injuries on their depth chart.
Texas coach Tom Herman gave updates on a host of players during his Monday press conference, including a big one on freshman running back Keaontay Ingram.
Ingram, who hurt his knee during Saturday night's win over Tulsa, has a bone bruise and sprained MCL and is "probably doubtful" to play Saturday against USC, Herman announced Monday. He said he doesn't expect Ingram's absence to be "extremely long-term," though.
Redshirt sophomore offensive guard Patrick Hudson, who remains in the hospital after suffering a full-body cramp due to heat in practice last Wednesday, is no longer relying on an IV, Herman said.
