Texas injury update: Multiple key players suffer injuries during win over Texas Tech

LUBBOCK -- Texas' injury struggles continued during Saturday night's 41-34 win over Texas Tech at Jones AT&T Stadium.

Texas coach Tom Herman announced after the game that multiple key players suffered injuries.

Freshman safety Caden Sterns was diagnosed with a head injury and will be evaluated Sunday morning.

Sophomore defensive back Josh Thompson suffered a right ankle sprain and did not return to Saturday night's game. Senior cornerback Davante Davis also sprained his ankle and experienced knee pain, and he did not return. Freshman running back Keaontay Ingram re-aggravated the hip pointer he suffered earlier in the season and did not return.
