Despite blowing out the Rice Owls, 45-13, the Texas Longhorns have dropped a spot in the latest SB Nation FanPulse Top 25.
Last week, Texas was just one spot outside of the top 10 at No. 11, but a 31-0 Utah win over Idaho State left the fans impressed enough that the Utes not only leapfrogged the Longhorns, but Michigan and Florida, as well, jumping from No. 12 to No. 9.
Texas is now positioned in that No. 12 spot, trailing Michigan and Florida for a place among the top 10.
