Following a high-profile recruiting event last Friday, the Texas Longhorns are continuing to take advantage of the brief stretch of days between dead periods by hosting Fort Bend Austin wide receiver Troy Omeire and Carrolton Ranchview athlete Michael Henderson Jr. on Tuesday:
While both recruits are members of the 2020 recruiting class, the visit from Omeire in particular is important to arrest some early momentum for Texas A&M — the Aggies hold both of his 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions.
At 6’3.5 and 205 pounds, Omeire is already an impressive prospect. He burst onto the scene as a sophomore by catching 39 passes for 742 yards and eight touchdowns, quickly earning offers from national powers like Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Ohio State.
