Texas hosting big unofficial visit weekend, including 5-star 2020 A&M commit

A dearth of remaining 2019 targets means that the Texas Longhorns haven’t yet hosted an official visitor in that cycle since the dead period ended roughly 10 days ago, but head coach Tom Herman and his staff are hosting numerous top targets in the 2020 and 2021 classes this weekend.

Expect the prospects to attend the Texas-Oklahoma basketball game this evening in addition to touring the football facilities — the more common elements of a visit.

Here’s the list of prospects who are on campus:

2020 class

  • Lake Travis quarterback Hudson Card (Texas commit)
  • Tomball quarterback Hunter Dunn
  • Houston North Forest wide receiver Demond Demas (Texas A&M commit)
  • Houston Cy Creek offensive tackle Chad Lindberg
  • Prosper offensive tackle Jake Majors
  • Helotes O’Connor offensive guard Logan Parr (Texas commit)
  • Port Neches-Grove offensive guard Jaylen Garth
  • Houston Cy Ridge defensive end Vernon Broughton
  • Highland Park defensive end Prince Dorbah
  • Dallas Bishop Dunne linebacker Brennon Scott
