On Monday, Fort Worth Brewer defensive tackle Bear Alexander made a decision that sent shockwaves across the college football recruiting world by announcing his decommitment from the Georgia Bulldogs a little more than four months after making his pledge on National Signing Day.
So it was no surprise that the Texas Longhorns quickly made a move to get the 6’3, 325-pounder on campus, efforts that paid off on Wednesday when Alexander made his way to the Forty Acres to meet new head coach Steve Sarkisian and defensive line coach Bo Davis for the first time since they arrived in Austin.
