Texas guard Andrew Jones opens up on life since being diagnosed with leukemia

The everyday things that Andrew Jones took for granted mean so much more in his battle with leukemia, the Texas sophomore guard said.

"The one thing I miss the most is being able to get out and live a regular life like used to," Jones said. "Stuff like that is special to me."

Jones gave his first interview since his early diagnosis last month to Alan Branch and Royce Johnson of the Oak Cliff-based Lone Star Sports Network. After first receiving treatment at the Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, he's now being treated at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
