Freshman quarterback Cameron Rising announced his decision to transfer from the Texas Longhorns on Thursday, ending weeks of speculation since he entered the NCAA transfer portal nearly a month ago.
Following an official visit to Salt Lake City last weekend, Rising is now a member of the Utah Utes program.

Rising, who was an early enrollee in the 2019 class, still has four years of eligibility remaining since he redshirted this season.
