AUSTIN -- Texas freshman wide receiver/defensive back D'Shawn Jamison was tabbed on Monday as the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.
Jamison, a former star at Houston Lamar, gave the Longhorns a massive boost early on Saturday against Kansas State when he returned a punt 90 yards for a touchdown, which gave Texas a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter.
Jamison was credited with the fourth-longest punt return touchdown in the history of the program.
