Sports Illustrated is in the mode right now that most other national media outlets are entering the 2019 college football regular season. On July 12, Sports Illustrated released their top 100 players for the 2019 college football season. Where did top players coming out of the Texas football program fall in line for SI?
Before we get into where they were ranked, I’ll mention that there were only three Texas football players that were slotted in the top 100. That meant that other top Texas Longhorns football players like senior center Zach Shackelford, sophomore defensive back BJ Foster, senior safety Brandon Jones, and sophomore running back Keaontay Ingram, were all left out.
