Texas football has a deeper group of tight ends than the program has seen in the past few years. The talent stockpiled throughout the past two recruiting classes put the tight end spot in a position to make a bigger impact for the Longhorns’ offense this season.
The two Texas tight ends that should see the most action this year is the senior that is coming off a big injury in Andrew Beck and the rising sophomore Cade Brewer. Last year, Brewer got the most action from this position with slightly under 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
