Yet another week of bowl projections come through for Texas football after a nailbiting victory over the Kansas Jayhawks on the road on Black Friday. With that win over Kansas on Nov. 23, Texas football moved up in both polls to No. 9 in the nation. We still have yet to see where the team ranks in the College Football Playoff poll this week.
One more victory pushes Texas football to a record of 9-3 (7-2 Big 12) and onto a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game against the Oklahoma Sooners on Dec. 1. The Big 12 Championship Game will pit the two biggest and most recognized programs nationally from the conference at a key time.
