The offense for Texas football is going to have more at stake this year than it did in the past five seasons because of the amount of pressure on the coaching staff. Head Texas football coach Tom Herman looks to take more control over the offensive play calling this year to make sure his scheme is properly implemented.
Offensive coordinator Tim Beck had trouble getting the Longhorns in rhythm last season, but he’ll still need to be on the same page as Herb Hand. That relationship goes for Herman with Beck and Hand too. So many phases of the offense need to be more efficient in 2018.
