Texas football got a massive addition to the 2019 recruiting class, now ranked No. 31 in the nation and fourth in the Big 12, according to 247Sports composite rankings. That massive commit for the Longhorns came from four-star cornerback Kenyatta Watson II. The other schools that were favorites for Watson II that he chose Texas over includes the Florida State Seminoles and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Although, Texas and Notre Dame were his only two favorites for his final decision.
At one point during spring camp, Watson II looked like he might choose either Florida State or Notre Dame over Texas, but he ended up committing less than two weeks after the spring game.
