Texas Football: What Collin Johnson brings for Longhorns as a senior in 2019

The Texas football program received some fantastic news from junior wide receiver Collin Johnson on Wednesday. He announced he would be returning to Texas football for his senior season.

Just two days after the Texas Longhorns huge Sugar Bowl victory, the 6’5″ San Jose, CA, product announced via social media that he will return to the Forty Acres.

Johnson was a projected mid-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, but he cited three reasons for returning for one last season: get his degree, bring a championship back to Texas football, and play one final season with his brother and running back, Kirk Johnson.
