We don’t have the official tally yet on the official attendance at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium for the Black Friday showdown in Lawrence yet. No. 14 Texas football showed up to an empty Kansas Memorial Stadium to face the Kansas Jayhawks on Nov. 23. To be fair, Kansas Memorial Stadium is never really a sold out electric atmosphere.
For the sake of the Kansas football program, hopefully newly hired head coach Les Miles can inject some type of excitement into this fan base.
And look we get it, Texas football was more than a two-touchdown favorite over the Jayhawks on Thanksgiving Week.
