There could be an emerging name in the Texas football receiving corps in fall practice with freshman Troy Omeire standing out.
With head coach Tom Herman and the Texas football program firmly in the midst of fall/training camp starting late last week, the onus is on the players and coaching staff to be ready for what is sure to be a turbulent season ahead. Texas has to go from essentially five months of offseason hiatus to full-on pads practice and game situations in camp.
There is also less than one full month now until the planned 2020 regular season slate for the Longhorns is supposed to begin.
