Texas football announced its selections to represent the 2018 squad at Big 12 Media Days. Four seniors will travel with head football coach Tom Herman to take part in the annual preseason media festivities. Those four seniors are defensive tackle Chris Nelson, offensive lineman Patrick Vahe, tight end Andrew Beck, and linebacker Breckyn Hager.
Potentially the most surprising and definitely the most entertaining of those selections from Herman is Hager. He’s a polarizing player that’s had his issues with gaining trust from the coaching staff before. Hager’s talent is unquestioned though given the results from his 2016 camaign with the Longhorns.
