Texas football has a lot to talk about outside of the program directly at this moment. With the Big 10 having quite the load of off the field issues coming about at the start of fall camp, the Longhorns will be impacted in Week 1. Both the Maryland Terrapins and Ohio State Buckeyes had their fair share of off the field issues of late.
To start with, the coaching staff for Ohio State was thrown into turbulence when the news came out that assistant Zach Smith was dismissed from the program on domestic violence accusations. Following the dismissal of Smith, it was released that head Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer had previously lacked the discipline for his assistant on the same issues in the past.
