It wasn’t hard to see any of the two former coordinators that head coach Tom Herman either demoted or fired completely from the Texas football program at the conclusion of the regular season land elsewhere right away. Herman parted ways with former third-year defensive coordinator Todd Orlando completely and former offensive coordinator Tim Beck was demoted to just quarterbacks coach.
However, the Texas Longhorns football program has yet to fill either of their two coaching vacancies at this point. There were candidates that were interviewed for the two coordinator openings, including former Rutgers Scarlet Knights head coach Chris Ash and USC Trojans offensive coordinator Graham Harrell, but there aren’t any hires in sight.
