Leading up to the Spring Football Game, here are a few updates on the State of Texas Football.
(1) Shane Buechele Remains QB Leader
Shane Buechele is the leader in the QB clubhouse for the moment. Last week, Tom Herman made it clear that Buechele has edged ahead of incoming freshman Sam Ehlinger.
This week, Offensive Coordinator Tim Beck talked about Buechele emerging as a leader of the new-look Texas Football program.
“I think the players do gravitate around him. I think he is a competitor. He’s a very cool customer. That’s one of the things I’ve learned.
