All the coaching turnover this year associated with the Texas football program will cast out a number of solid assistants that other college and NFL teams can snag. Texas looks to turnover at least half of their position coaches heading into the offseason.
But one assistant coach that the Texas Longhorns football program seemed to want to retain, running backs coach Stan Drayton, might be on his way out the door.
Drayton is reportedly receiving interest from the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams to be an assistant coach in the NFL. On Jan. 9, it was reported by Todd Archer of ESPN that Drayton was going to visit with the Cowboys.
