While the Texas football program went through an unnecessary scare in the 50-48 late win over the Kansas Jayhawks, the rival Oklahoma Sooners were trying to put down the hammer against the West Virginia Mountaineers at home in Norman. Oklahoma thoroughly beat the Mountaineers by the final score of 52-14 at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Oct. 19.
However, one of the craziest moments of the weekend emerged when the Sooner Schooner fell over after Oklahoma took a 28-7 lead on West Virginia. The Sooner Schooner fell over on the 15-yard line in an accidental topple on a traditional touchdown celebration.
