The month of July was very good for the Texas football program on the recruiting trail. The 2020 and 2021 Texas football recruiting classes each added at least two commitments this month. There’s a few days left in the month that could bring more results too.
It seemed like for a while around July 20 that the commitments were never going to stop for the 2021 Texas football recruiting class. Most of the rapid stream of commitments for the 2020 and 2021 classes for the Texas Longhorns football program were in the latter half of the month. And most of the pledges went to the 2021 recruiting class instead of 2020.
