Texas football heads into the 2018 campaign looking to finally knock off the Oklahoma Sooners at the top of the Big 12 standings. This would be the first time since 2009 that the Longhorns won the Big 12 Championship, if the team is able to this year.
A top matchup to watch in 2018, even despite the magnitude of the rivalry, will be the Sooners and Horns. Both teams look to take the field in the middle of the 2018 regular season at the old Cotton Bowl on the Texas State Fairgrounds with conference title contention in mind.
