Texas football recruiting hauled in a big fish on July 7 by landing four-star out-of-state wide receiver Demaryion Houston. Hailing from Millwood High School in Oklahoma City, OK, Houston was a very sought after target for most Big 12 schools. He also had some of the most recognizable programs in the nation pursuing him for the 2019 recruiting cycle.
Altogether, Houston had 20 offers before committing to the Longhorns. He could still garner a few more before the Early Signing Period and National Signing Day come around for this recruiting class. A few other major programs that offered Houston include the Alabama Crimson Tide, Oregon Ducks, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Tennessee Volunteers, and Auburn Tigers.
