For a stretch of a few weeks, Texas Football ruled over the recruiting circuit. They were picking up players for 2018 left and right, including quarterbacks Casey Thompson and Cameron Rising, along with defensive end Ron Tatum and offensive lineman Reese Moore. They also flipped safety Caden Sterns from LSU, making for the latest addition to the commitment class.
There’s still a while to go before recruiting for 2018 ends, meaning we should see the Longhorns’ class continue to expand under Tom Herman and co. This will see them reach out to more potential commits, make offers, host visits and try to grow on the eight already-committed players.
