Texas football recruiting had a day to truly be proud of on July 7. By landing two talented prospects in four-star Oklahoma City, OK, wide receiver Demaryion Houston and three-star Alvin, TX, cornerback Marques Caldwell. The two commitments came within hours of each other. And, it was a huge addition to an already strong recruiting class in the receiving corps and secondary for the Longhorns.
Houston is the higher rated of the two prospects that committed to Texas on July 7. He was the first commitment for the Horns 2019 recruiting class since four-star safety Chris Adimora gave his pledge on July 1.
