A costly decommit that Texas football recruiting received of late came from the Oklahoma City, OK, four-star wide receiver Demaryion Houston. During a good run for Texas football recruiting in adding to the 2019 class in the months of September and October, Houston was a key pick up to bolster the receiving corps that could lose a lot this off-season.
This off-season, the Texas Longhorns could lose a host of talent and experience from the receiving corps including junior Lil’Jordan Humphrey, junior Collin Johnson, senior Jerrod Heard, and senior tight end Andrew Beck. To replace all that departed talent, Texas football recruiting needs to haul in a class similar to what it had for the 2018 cycle.
