For such a storied college football program in the nation, like Texas football, only making three appearances all-time in a very famous and prestigious postseason game like the Sugar Bowl is pretty shocking. But, Texas football does have a host of berths in other prestigious postseason games like the Cotton Bowl Classic, Rose Bowl, and Fiesta Bowl.
The Texas football program is hoping that it can make its fourth all-time Sugar Bowl appearance worthy of the memorable postseason wins for the fan base. It has been a long time since Texas football made an appearance in a bowl game as important as this year’s Allstate Sugar Bowl, on New Years Day against the Georgia Bulldogs.
