The start of day two of the Elite 11 at the Ford Center at the Star featured more of a turn of the focus to the Opening Finals and 7-on-7 drills. All of the 20 high school quarterbacks fighting to win the Elite 11 Finals got the chance to show what they had in running actual 7-on-7 drills with defensive backs competing. Four-star Texas football dual-threat quarterback commit Hudson Card looked good in the process.
In front of a current Texas football star quarterback in attendance, to-be junior Sam Ehlinger, Card showed off his footwork in the pocket and constant strength and passing accuracy.
