A recent hot stretch for the 2021 Texas football recruiting class brought about thoughts as to how head coach Tom Herman could start piecing together his 2022 class. With Texas’ 2021 recruiting class now up to 11 commitments, 2022 can hopefully get its first in the near future. Texas is one of the lone Power Five programs that both sits at the top of their conference’s recruiting rankings for the 2021 cycle and hasn’t landed any pledges for the 2022 class.
