Texas football sent a solid class through the 2018 NFL Draft, and also had some notable undrafted free agents signed. One of those undrafted free agents, defensive tackle Poona Ford, landed in a great situation with former USC Trojans head football coach Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks.
The 2017 Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year Ford goes to a team known for developing top notch defensive talent in recent years. A good portion of the best defensive players that Seahawks had in the past four years came from later round draft picks or undrafted free agents.
