Now that the 2018 campaign is halfway in the books for the Texas football program, the toughest part of the schedule is out of the way. If everything continues to go well for the Longhorns this year, an appearance in the 2018 Big 12 Championship Game should be right around the corner. However, a second half schedule that could be loaded with trap games looms difficult for Texas football.
Now that we’re officially at the halfway point of the 2018 campaign, it seems as if the Week 1 loss to the Maryland Terrapins was so long ago. The Big 12’s standing from top-to-bottom was so volatile in the first half of the regular season that the conference slate feels as if it’s gone on for much longer than it actually has.
