A huge get for the Texas football program out of the NCAA Transfer Portal on April 28, with the announcement that former Michigan Wolverines wide receiver Tarik Black would take his talents to the Forty Acres. This is the latest addition for head coach Tom Herman, as he continues to turn to the transfer portal for answers for various positional needs.
Last offseason, Herman turned to the portal to haul in former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets graduate transfer All-ACC offensive guard Parker Braun to add depth in the trenches. Two years ago, the Texas Longhorns football program would get former Rice Owls offensive tackle Calvin Anderson and Cal Golden Bears running back Tre Watson as grad transfers to make an immediate impact.
