Texas Football: Longhorns Tab Gilbert For OC

The Texas Longhorns addressed their first staff opening of the offseason by hiring a new offensive coordinator.

Gilbert will bring an Art Briles-style spread with him to Texas, where he will have plenty of talented offensive players to toy with. Rumors are that Gilbert will also bring Tulsa co-offensive coordinator Mike Mattox with him to take over offensive line duties, which means that this is the end of the line for Joe Wickline in Austin.
