One of the most shocking things to come out of this year’s NFL Draft process was the fall of Texas football wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey. There’s no question that he did not have a good combine, showing a lack of speed in comparison to his fellow wide receivers.
But it’s disappointing to see him go from a projected third or fourth round pick when the season ended to going undrafted. Even though Humphrey did not hear his name called during the three-day draft, he was quickly signed as a free agent by the New Orleans Saints on Saturday.
