The unofficial visit for a key target for the 2020 Texas football recruiting class, four-star safety Lathan Ransom, seemingly made a huge impact on his eventual decision. This 6-foot-1 and 200 pound Arizona native safety has a ton of interest coming his way with nearly 30 programs on his offer sheet so far.
On June 3, Ransom announced on his Twitter timeline that he was set to have a big time announcement coming on the afternoon of June 4 at 3 p.m. CT. That announcement dropped around 3:30 p.m. CT with an expected list of finalist schools that he built up after his unofficial visit with the Texas football program last weekend.
