All news wasn’t going to be good for the 2020 and 2021 Texas football recruiting classes to cap the month of July. The past four weeks brought fantastic results for those two Texas football recruiting classes, especially 2021. But the Texas Longhorns football program did lose out on a key target the coaching staff prioritized for the 220 recruiting class.
That loss came by four-star offensive tackle Chad Lindberg, who committed to head coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs out of the SEC East on July 28. The commitment from Lindberg to Georgia dropped on his Twitter timeline yesterday.
