In a season that was marked by the standout play of the defense for Texas football thus far, something has to give for the other side of the ball given the lame 19-point performance posted against the Kansas State Wildcats last week. That was an experience for the Longhorns’ offense that hopefully doesn’t repeat itself.
The role was never bigger for true freshman Texas football running back Keaontay Ingram as it was against Kansas State. He racked up more than 90 total yards and was the only rusher for the Horns that was able to significantly make a dent in that opposing defense.
