Injuries can wreak havoc for programs in fall camp, and that looked to potentially be the case for Texas football at the outset of practice in August. The Longhorns lost some key defensive players such as junior linebacker Jeffrey McCulloch, senior linebacker Gary Johnson, and senior cornerback Davante Davis for different periods of time in fall camp due to injury.
Yet, none of those three players that experienced injury issues in fall camp should miss any actual game time. A recent release of what should be the full injury report, as of Aug. 29, shows who the Horns will be missing in the season opener on Sep.
