Texas football is doing really well on the trail recruiting defensive backs in the 2024 class this spring. Texas cornerbacks coach Terry Joseph is seemingly doing some good work on the recruiting trail of late, especially with some top in-state targets in the secondary such as five-star Waco Connally cornerback Kobe Black and four-star Temple Lake Belton cornerback Selman Bridges.
We shouldn’t discount the work that Joseph, safeties coach Blake Gideon, and the Longhorns are doing on the recruiting trail with some top safety targets in the 2024 class either. Texas is in a good spot heading into the summer with some top safety targets in the 2024 class such as four-star IMG Academy product Jordon Johnson-Rubell and four-star Lancaster product Corian Gipson.
