During the course of an off-season where the coaching carousel was anticipated to have little impact for the Texas football program, there were a few reported additions of late that could have a major impact. None of the additions Texas football is trying to make will help add to any big coaching position, though.
The first reported hiring for the Texas football coaching staff came from the former head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels Larry Fedora. On Feb. 18, it was announced that Fedora was coming aboard the staff of head Texas football coach Tom Herman after joining in for a staff meeting last week.
