There is a pretty constant ongoing conversation with a key target of the 2022 Texas football recruiting class and Oregon Ducks three-star offensive tackle commit Cameron Williams in the last few months. The Duncanville High School product Williams committed to Oregon back on July 1, but that hasn’t stopped the Texas coaching staff from slowing down in pursuit of flipping his pledge.
New head coach Steve Sarkisian and offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood look to continue making the recruitment of Williams a priority this fall. There is a sizable need in the Longhorns 2022 class to add some numbers at the offensive tackle position.
